FAQ

Q: What does my child need to be ready for school?
A: Just a backpack! No need to bring any school supplies (although donations are always appreciated) Don't forget to bring a stuffed animal friend for the first day of school!

Q: How do I get my child on a waiting list?
A: Contact Miss Ali directly and give her a call!

Q: What days do we have school?
A: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We follow the same schedule as Mount Loafer. When they have a day off, so do we! The only difference is our start date. Childs Play Preschool always starts the first school day after Labor day.

Q: Why start so late?
A: A lot of moms (including myself) have other children who they need to get off to school! Going to kindergarten for the first time means that moms need to be available to help little ones get adjusted to going to elementary school. We also start after the bus leaves in the morning and end before pick up! This makes it convenient for moms and dads to take care of the other children and have adequate time for transportation.

Q: Do you have a bus that comes to Childs Play Preschool?
A: Unfortunately, we don't. This is a private school and therefore transportation is on the parents. However, in the past, parents have collaborated and set up a carpool.

Q: How big are the classes?
A: Childs Play Preschool will never have more than 6 children per teacher. If we have 7 children enrolled I try to adjust to have a morning and afternoon class so each child gets more one on one time. The school is built to only host 6 children at a time. I am a firm believer in small class sizes and individual learning experiences.

Q: I have already paid my deposit, but we want out! What now?
A: Unfortunately the deposit in nonrefundable since I had to turn other students away to hold your child's spot. However, if you send me another student in your childs' place and they sign up for the entire year, I will give you a complete refund of your deposit!

Q: How do I enroll my child?
A: Just click HERE and download the Registration form.

Q: I have more than one child I would like to enroll during this school year. I cannot afford to send both my children to preschool. Are there any discounts for enrolling multiple children?
A: If you are struggling to pay for more than one child in preschool, please contact Miss Ali directly and we can work something out. I would hate for a child to miss out on a formal education due to monetary issues.
